49ers stomp the Browns - Sportsfinda's Marketplace

Monday Night the Sanfranciso 49ers stomped the Cleveland Browns beating them 31-3. The 49ers are on a 4-0 winning streak surprising the league. The 49ers took ahold of the game on the ground as Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman ran all over the Browns defense. The Browns couldn’t contain the 49ers rushing attack Monday night that controlled the game.

Matt Breida finished the day with 114 yards on 11 carries including a rushing and receiving touchdown. Tevin Coleman rushed for 97 yards on 16 carries and 1 touchdown as well. Jimmy Garoppolo looked like a general making good reads upon the pass and run. He ended the game with an sufficient performance passing 20 for 29 on 181 yards including 2 passing Touchdowns. Tight End George Kittle contributed hauling in a touchdown and 6 receptions for 60 yards.

The Browns struggled highly as Baker Mayfield struggled making throws. He completed a horrid 8 out of 22 passes for 100 yards and 2 interceptions. Mayfield struggled making reads and getting the ball to playmakers. There were also dropped passes that resulted in those interceptions as well.

The Browns struggled and it showed as they never took chances in the redzone to get Beckham or Landry the ball. Repeatedly they resumed to take chances on other options who did not answer. Most would suggest you put your chances on your Elite Pro Bowl Receivers but it didn’t seem to be the choice Baker Mayfield took on critical downs. It made it much easier that night with no production from the Browns receiving threat duo.

Defensively the 49ers gave the Browns a headache. Nick Bosa recorded 2 sacks and Richard Sherman had an interception. They held the Browns to a field Goal the whole night. The 49ers are looking Good as they ran over the Browns. The Browns need to clean up a lot of play calling and decision making by Baker Mayfield. It was a solid victory for the 49ers.
