With preseason coming to an end we are now heading into the part of the year fans have been waiting for being the regular season. There’s been many changes this offseason around the league as well as even this preseason. Rosters will be set and teams are doing their last cuts, signings to the roster, and practice squad. There has been many eye opening moments dealing with players and the story now is the unexpected retirement of Quarterback Andrew Luck from the Indianapolis Colts.
Luck has faced Injury year by year with constant rehab and surgery. Over the time of Luck’s career he lead Indianapolis to a wild-card playoff birth and also to an AFC championship. Luck had admiration from his peers to become an All-Time player. Luck has pro bowl status under his belt that represented his respectable play. No one expected the 29 year old Quarterback to retire so young and also in a time of his career where many saw so much to prove. With the awareness of his health, family, and lack of love for the game it lead to his retirement.
More news comes with the Dallas cowboys trying to negotiate a deal with the Ezekiel Elliott. Josh Gordon is back in New England and ready to play ball within the high powered offense led by Tom Brady. This season will be amazing every week as all questions will be answered by how teams and players respond in matchups. Will the Browns live up to the Hype? Can New England be in the super bowl once again with the ageless Brady? Could the Raiders have a winning season with the addition of arguably the one of best receivers in the league Antonio Brown? Who will surprise us week by week as a team or player? Who knows! We ‘re all excited and ready for some regular season football as week one is upon us!
