The Jets shock the Cowboys - Sportsfinda's Marketplace

The Jets were 0-4 coming into week 6 against Dallas who seemed very confident of a win but that was not the outcome. After suffering back to back losses Dallas seemed to think this would be an easy week which most would say was actually desperate need of them to win due to previous losses. Also, with Sam Darnold finally returning no one expected the outcome of his play but he answered that night. The Jets flew by the Cowboys!

Sam Darnold had a good return to the field passing 23 out of 32 for 338 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Deep threat Robby Anderson hauled in 5 cathches for 125 yards and a touchdown. Anderson’s big play came from catching a long bomb from Darnold that was a 92-yard touchdown being the second longest pass play in Jets franchise history. Le’Veon Bell Rushed for a touchdown as well having 50 yards on the ground. Offensively it was a sub par but solid day for the Jets.

Dallas struggled giving the Jets big plays and also struggled offensively on converting 3rd downs. Dak Prescott’s day was far from special passing 27 for 40 and 227 yards with no touchdowns on the air. Prescott only rushed for a touchdown. Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 105 and a touchdown. Due to struggling in the passing attack he cowboys trailed early and tried to score in the end but it wasn’t enough for the win.

In the end the Jets won 24-22 over the cowboys clinching their first win of the season. With that win it should boost the confidence of the Jets and also alert Dallas of 3 consecutive losses. Both teams need to Win with all being said. Week 6 was full of surprises and the Jets where among the biggest of them beating the Cowboys.
